Coronavirus Policy

3/17/20 UPDATE to Coronavirus Policy

 March 17th2020

PSPL Clubs:

These are uncertain and unprecedented times throughout the world. The PSPL has made the difficult – but necessary – decision to suspend all state cup competitions slated for April. We have temporarily secured fields in early May as well as other summer dates to potentially hold the state-cup tournaments. But those decisions ultimately will be dictated by current events and could change due to the state of emergency that has been declared in Washington state.

This is uncharted territory, and announcements are happening quickly, so we have no doubt you may be feeling some frustration. We are doing our best to minimize confusion. Please know we are all working diligently to make sense of this crisis and how it ultimately will affect our clubs and our league. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work hard to respond to all inquiries. At this time, we are evaluating our policies and next steps, and will communicate more information with you as we learn more.

The PSPL sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and disappointment these changes may have caused our soccer community. We very much appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued passion for the game of soccer and for the beautiful community that it creates. By working together, we will find a way through this crisis.
